The day marking the change of seasons is called "Setsujitsu," and in the past, the five seasonal days, including New Year’s Day, were known as "Gosekku." During these days, ceremonies and banquets called "Setsue" were held. Originally, these traditions were conducted exclusively within the Imperial Court, but during the Edo period, the government officially recognized these seasonal days as holidays under the term "Gosekku." As this custom spread among the general public, the New Year’s dishes for the most important of these days came to be called "Osechi." The practice of preparing Osechi dishes as we know them today began from the late Edo to the Meiji period, when the tradition of using layered boxes started, symbolizing the wish for “stacked happiness.”
At neutral, we have crafted a gentle, flavorful Osechi that differs slightly from the lavish styles seen in recent years. Our single-layer cedar box contains 15 auspicious items, perfect for the start of a new year. The amount is ideal for two to three people. We hope you enjoy this special opportunity.

Cancellation Policy
Due to the need to secure ingredients, cancellations cannot be accepted. For prepaid items, refunds cannot be issued if the order is not picked up due to customer circumstances. In cases of no-shows or inability to pick up the order, the full amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
